Bardstown, Boston firefighters respond to mobile home blaze

Sunday, March 25, 2012, 3 a.m. – The Bardstown Fire Department was called out at 12:55 Sunday morning to a mobile fire in the 5700 block of Boston Road. The first firefighter on scene reported the flames were advancing and were already through the roof of the home. The Boston Fire Department was called to assist, and Nelson County EMS had an ambulance on standby at the fire scene. The mobile home was believed to have been vacant at the time of the fire. Firefighters were on scene for about two hours.
