Thomas Michael Cambron, 65, Bardstown
Thomas Michael Cambron, 65, of Bardstown, died Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at his home. He was born June 6, 1948, in Lebanon. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, and he retired from American Fuji Seal after 40 years of service. He loved his family and friends, his farm, horseback-riding, rabbit hunting, and was an avid University of Kentucky fan. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fredericktown.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Arch Cambron on Jan. 12, 1985; his mother, Mary Emogene Osborne Cambron on Aug. 11, 2008; and his brother, Charles Raymond Cambron on March 29, 2010.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Barbara Hamilton Cambron of Bardstown;
two daughters, Jacqueline Renee (Ron) Hibbs of Fredericktown, and Valerie Jean Miller of Louisville; two sons, Scott Michael (Sara) Cambron of Fredericktown, and Daniel Nicholas (Michele) Barker of Louisville; three sisters, Helena (Junior) Hardin, Phyllis (Tom) Filiatreau, and Dee Dee (Danny) Logsdon; four brothers, Ronnie (Pearl) Cambron, Mark (Marilyn) Cambron, Jimmy (Gayle) Cambron, and Tim (Anna) Cambron; sister-in-law, Mary Vivian Cambron; eight grandchildren, Annalyn and Aubbrey Cambron, Meg, Mary and Nick Barker, Marshall, Peyton, and Tim Tyrrell; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial is 10:30 a.m. Saturday July 6, 2013, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery with the Rev. Matthew Hardesty officiating.
Visitation is 3–8 p.m. Friday, July 5, 2013, at Barlow Funeral Home in Bardstown. A prayer service is 8 p.m. Friday.
Memorial contributions may go to Holy Trinity Catholic Church in honor of Mike Cambron.
