Obituary: Gelinda Faye Greathouse Nalley, 72, of Cox’s Creek

Gelinda Faye Greathouse Nalley, 72, of Cox’s Creek, died Wednesday, Nov. funeral_lily13, 2013, at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville. She was born Dec. 15, 1940, in Bullitt County. She retired from Rose Construction and was a member of Bardstown Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lemus and Jessie Greathouse; and one sister, Alma Louise Pulliam.

She is survived by her husband, Joe Nalley of Cox’s Creek; one daughter, Janet (Marco) Oyola of Elizabethtown; one son, Timmy (Carolyn) Downs of Bardstown; one stepdaughter, Johnnie Bumgardner of Elizabethtown; and one stepson, Richard Dick Mason of Florida; one sister, Ella Mae Bivens of Bardstown; one brother, Charles “Son” Greathouse of Bardstown; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in the New Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor Doug Lutes will officiate.

Visitation is 3–8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, 2013, and 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013 at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may go to Bardstown Church of God.
