Bardstown Fire responds to active alarm at Bardstown High School
Friday, Jan. 17, 2014, 12:40 a.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department responded to an active fire alarm at Bardstown High School, 400 North Fifth St., at 10:30 Thursday night. When fire units arrived, they were met by staff who advised the alarm was coming from a janitor’s closet. The source of the alarm was a malfunctioning light fixture. Firefighters disconnected the light fixture and advised school personnel to have the fixture repaired. Firefighters were on scene for about 30 minutes.
