Police, EMS looking for bike wreck find neither motorcycle or operator

Saturday, May 9, 2015, 12:40 a.m. — Nelson County EMS and the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single-vehicle motorcycle accident reported at 10:36 p.m. Friday evening on Hutchins Lane at Loretto Road. According to an eyewitness, an intoxicated man wrecked his motorcycle in at relative slow speed. Police checked the area but did not find the motorcycle or its operator. Police learned the rider was allegedly on his way to Flaget Memorial Hospital by private vehicle.
