Nelson County firefighters respond fo early morning semi tractor fire

Wednesday, June 8, 2016 — The Nelson County Fire Department responded Wednesday morning for a semi tractor on fire in a driveway in the 4000 block of Boston Road near the intersection of Old Airport Road. Firefighters were dispatched at 1:32 a.m. The first firefighters on scene reported the truck was fully engulfed in flames. There was no trailer attached to the semi tractor. Firefighters had the fire under control in a short time. Firefighters were on the scene for about 45 minutes.
