ECTC’s Springfield campus to host student open house April 27

Tuesday, April 11, 2017 — The Springfield campus of Elizabethtown Community and Technical College (ECTC) will host an open house for individuals interested in attended ECTC from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 27, 2017.

The event will feature facility tours, information sessions on financial aid, and the opportunity to meet with instructors and representatives from several degree programs.

ECTC student services staff will be available to discuss the support available to help first generation and minority students succeed in college.

Military veterans will be able to find out how to apply for college credit for their in-service training, what costs their G.I. Bill will cover and how the Veteran Center of Excellence can help them successfully transition to and graduate from ECTC.

College staff will explain the cost of attending ECTC and compare how starting college locally can save you thousands of dollars in tuition and other costs associated with getting your college education These cost effective pathways lead to graduating with an ECTC degree and moving into the workforce; obtaining your General Education Certification or associate degree on the way to transferring to a 4-year college or university; or gaining specialized training to move ahead in your career.

Registration begins at 5:30 and information sessions begin at 6:00. Learn what ECTC can do to help you with your higher education by attending this event.

The Springfield ECTC campus is located north of Springfield on KY 555. From the traffic light at US150 / KY555, turn north and travel approximately 1/2 of a mile. Turn right onto Corporate Drive. The campus is on the left.
