Obituary: Billie Rose Watts, 30, Cox’s Creek

Billie Rose Watts, 30, of Cox’s Creek, died Friday, Aug. 11, 2017, at University of Louisville Hospital. She was born March 11, 1987, in Louisville. She was an employee of Amazon where she worked in stowing, packing and processing. She was a member of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her daughter, Bailie Rose Watts; her parents, Billy and Diane Nielsen Watts of Cox’s Creek; two sisters, Angel (Gene) Gilbart of Cox’s Creek and Lisa (Travis) Beam of Bloomfield; two uncles, Floyd (Ronette) Nielsen of Cox’s Creek and Jim (Thelma) Watts of Bardstown; three nieces, Kayla, Isabella and Emily; five nephews, Andrew, Floyd, Jacob, Trevor and Steele.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2017, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home with Bro. Jonathan Gann officiating. Burial is in the New Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is noon-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2017, and after 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home, 1475 New Shepherdsville Road, is in charge of arrangements.
