Bardstown firefighters respond for vehicle fire on West Stephen Foster

Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017 — The Bardstown Fire Department responded Tuesday afternoon for a vehicle on fire at an auto repair garage on West Stephen Foster Avenue.

At 12:47 p.m. Tuesday, the fire department was dispatched for a vehicle fire in the 800 block of West Stephen Foster Avenue. Firefighters had the fire under control in a short time and stayed on scene conducting salvage operations. A total of three vehicles were involved in the fire, firefighters reported. Nelson County EMS responded to evaluate and treat two individuals with possible medical issues at the scene. A 37-year-old man was transported to Flaget Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries.
