Obituary: Sharon Lee McGrew, 72, Mount Washington

Sharon Lee McGrew, 72, of Mount Washington, died at Baptist Health Hospital Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2017, with her family by her side. She was a Baptist by faith and a member of Parkway Baptist Church in Bardstown. She enjoyed quilting and fishing with the grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen McGrew; and her parents Ernest and Grace Dewitt Lane.

She is survived by two daughters, Shara Lynn Breashear (Kirby) of Bardstown and Melissa Suzanne Ray (Michael) of Shepherdsville; one son, Stephen E. McGrew Jr. (Carolyn Russell) of Shepherdsville; one brother, Sonny Lane (Donna) of Louisville; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many other family members and friends.

The funeral is 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15, 2017, at the Maraman Billings Funeral Home in Shepherdsville with burial 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017, at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.

Visitation is 2-6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

The Maraman-Billings Funeral Home in Shepherdsville is in charge of arrangements.
