Pedestrian injured Thursday evening after struck by vehicle on E. John Rowan

Thursday, Dec. 14, 2017 — A man believed to be in his late 40s was injured Thursday evening after being struck by a vehicle on East John Rowan near the intersection with Kimberly Run.

At about 5:30 p.m. Thursday, a Nelson County deputy sheriff requested EMS for a man struck by a vehicle. Nelson County EMS and the Bardstown Fire Department responded to the scene.

The man was treated at the scene by EMS and then transported directly to University Hospital in Louisville with head and facial injuries.
