County firefighters called Wednesday for Brentwood Lane grass fire

Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018 — The Nelson County Fire Department was called Wednesday afternoon to the area of Brentwood Lane off Pottershop Road near the Bluegrass Parkway underpass for a grass fire.

At about 5:18 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters were dispatched to the 500 block of Brentwood Lane for a field fire that was spreading toward a wooded area. Firefighters responded and found an approximately 3-acre field involved. Firefighters were on the scene for approximately 45 minutes.
