Bardstown men arrested Wednesday after drug task force searches Fern Lea homes

Friday, Feb. 9, 2018 — Two Bardstown men were arrested on drug-related charges Wednesday by members of the Greater Hardin County Narcotics Task Force after officers executed search warrants at 135 and 144 Fern Lea Circle in Bardstown.

Lead detective Eric Williamson of the Bardstown Police Department, along with other task force detectives, seized approximately 8 ounces of cocaine; approximately 9 ounces of marijuana; anabolic steroids; numerous narcotic pills; three handguns; one shotgun; and more than $7,000 in cash.

Robert Maddox Jr., 37, and Kenny Kincaid, 37, were arrested at the scene. Maddox was charged with trafficking in marijuana (less than 8 ounces); trafficking in controlled substances, first-degree (less than 2 grams methamphetamine); trafficking in controlled substances, first-degree (drug unspecified); possession of drug paraphernalia. Kincaid was charged with trafficking in controlled substances, first-degree (four or more grams cocaine); possession of marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia; warrant for parole violation.
