Obituary: Charles Barnett VanVactor, 74, Lebanon Junction

Charles Barnett VanVactor, 74, of Lebanon Junction, died Saturday, April 14, 2018, at Flaget Hospital. He was a lab technician for Bussman’s, a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church and an U.S. Air Force veteran of Vietnam.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Thomas and Thelma Rose McMillen VanVactor.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Newton VanVactor; one daughter, Lettisha Marie (Timothy) Waters; two sons, Joseph Thomas (Laura) VanVactor and William Gabriel (Emily) VanVactor;  and nine grandchildren, Emily, Sam, Erin, Noah, Zachary, Andrew, Josh, Cody and Holly.

The funeral is noon Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at the Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction.

Visitation is 1-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2018, and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction is in charge of the arrangements.
