Monday, April 16, 2018 — The Kentucky Black Caucus of Local Elected Officials (KBC-LEO), a constituency group of the Kentucky League of Cities (KLC), invites everyone to attend our 14th Annual Spring Summit to be held Friday and Saturday, April 27-28, 2018, at Kreso’s Restaurant Ballroom in Bardstown.

The KBC-LEO annual summit is designed each year to bring together black elected officials, appointed officials, and community leaders from around the Commonwealth to promote a positive exchange of ideas on issues that unite us, and to organize our efforts through collective leadership to create positive change.

The critical issues of Education, Justice Reform, Women Empowerment, and the continuing efforts to encourage our youth, affect not only African-Americans but Kentuckians in general.

We will attempt to enlighten and inform you through our panel discussions with our bright leaders from around the Commonwealth who deal with these issues every day. We are also glad to have several of our candidates that are seeking local and statewide offices on hand with us as well as many members from the General Assembly.

For more information, contact Bardstown City Councilman Bill Sheckles, (502) 507-1160 or Councilwoman Kecia Copeland at (502) 275-8348; or visit the KBC-LEO Facebook page.
