Obituary: Michael Keith ‘Mickey’ Greenwell, 67, Bardstown

MICHAEL KEITH “MICKEY” GREENWELL

Michael Keith “Mickey” Greenwell, 67, of Bardstown, died Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at his residence. He was born Sept. 24, 1950, in Bardstown to the late Francis Elmer and Elizabeth Hester Rogers Greenwell. He was a retired mechanic for Bardstown Bowling Lanes, and was a member of the Catholic faith.

He is survived by one sister, Joanne Johnson of Bardstown; one brother, Roger (Mary Jane) Greenwell of Bardstown; and several nieces and nephews.

Cremation was chosen by the family. A memorial service is 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home with the Rev. Jason Harris officiating. Burial is in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Visitation is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hospice of Nelson County.

The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
