Bardstown woman dies in two-vehicle crash on WK Parkway

Thursday, May 31, 2018, 10:24 a.m. — A Bardstown woman died Wednesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash on Western Kentucky Parkway.
Jodi Jenkins, 57, of Bardstown died when for unknown reasons, her eastbound 2008 Honda crossed the WK Parkway median near the 122 mile marker and collided with a 2015 Freightliner operated by Jordan Campbell, 24, of White Hall, Ark.
According to Kentucky State Police, Jenkins died of her injuries at the scene. Campbell refused medical treatment by Hardin County EMS. The accident close portions of the WK Parkway’s westbound lanes while KSP reconstructionists investigated the crash. The crash is being investigated by KSP Trooper Brandon Brooks.
