County fire responds Wednesday night for farm equipment fire

Friday, June 8, 2018 — Nelson County Fire and Rescue responded Wednesday evening to what was reported as hay on fire at a farm in the 600 block of Ben Irvin Road.

At 8:50 p.m., firefighters responded for the reported fire. Once they arrived at the fire location, the fire was actually limited to a round hay baler that was burning. Firefighters were on the scene for about 40 minutes.
