Samuels Road motorcycle crash sends one to Flaget Memorial Hospital

Saturday, June 16, 2018 — One person was injured in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash Saturday afternoon in the 900 block of Samuels Road in the Cox’s Creek community. At 12:21 p.m., Nelson County EMS and the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched for an injury accident near the sharp curve on Samuels Road west of its intersection with US31E, Louisville Road for a black 2000 Harley-Davidson motorcycle that crashed. The operator — described as a man in his 50s — was treated at the scene by Nelson County EMS and transported to Flaget Memorial Hospital with complaints of back pain.
