Obituary: Christian Dawn ‘Chris’ Endris, 62, Bardstown

Christian Dawn “Chris” Endris, 62, of Bardstown, died Wednesday, July 11, 2018, in Flaget Memorial Hospital. She was born March 29, 1956, in Bedford, Ind. to Fritz and Connie Lewis Endris. She was a substitute teacher for Bardstown City Schools.

She was preceded in death by her father, Fritz Endris.

She is survived by one son, Ben Dekle of Cold Springs; her mother, Connie Endris of Greensburg, Ind.; three sisters, Debbie (Curt) Palmer of Plymouth, Ind., Beth (Gene) Hochstetler of Shipshewana, Ind., and Teresa (Tim) Richards of Sumpter, SC.; six brothers, Tony Endris and Mike (Cathy) Endris, both of Greensburg, Ind., Pat Endris of Greenwood, Ind., Fred (Tonya) Endris of Cleveland, Ind., Geoff (Myra) Endris of Carmel, Ind., and Bob Endris of Akron, Ohio.

Cremation was chosen by the family.

A memorial service is 2 p.m. Saturday, July 21, 2018, at the Houghlin Greenwell Funeral Home. Visitation is noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
