Four sent to hospital after two-vehicle head-on crash near New Hope

Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2018 — Four people were sent to the hospital after a two-vehicle head-on crash Wednesday afternoon on Dee Head Road in New Hope community.

At 3:47 p.m., Nelson County EMS and the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to the area of 25 Dee Head Road for an injury accident involving a four-door passenger car and an SUV.

Two EMS ambulances were required due to the number of injured people. Four people were treated at the scene before being transported to Hardin Memorial Hospital for evaluation and treatment.

First-responders were on the scene for about 40 minutes.
