Bloomfield Councilman Dudgeon files Monday to run for city’s mayor

Monday, Aug. 6, 2018 — Bloomfield City Councilman Chris Dudgeon filed Monday to be a candidate for mayor of Bloomfield in the November General Election.

Dudgeon, 34, is resident of Chaplin Road. He was appointed to the Bloomfield city council last year after former council member Jim Glisson resigned in October. Dudgeon is a native of Campbellsville.

FILING DEADLINE 8 DAYS AWAY. The deadline to file for local office — mayor, councilman/city commissioner, school board member, etc. — is 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2018.
