Obituary: Francis G. ‘Jerry’ Brady, 71, Lebanon

Francis G. “Jerry” Brady, 71, of Lebanon, died Thursday, Aug. 9, 2018, at UK Medical Center in Lexington. He was born June 7, 1947, in Marion County. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas O’Shea and Mary Ernestine Buckman Brady; one sister, Mary Cecilia Spalding; and two brothers, Michael O’Shea Brady and Russell Brady.

Survivors Include one daughter, Kathy Brady of Lebanon; one sone, Eddie (Kimberly) Brady of Delaware, Ohio; two sisters, Rose (Jerry) Hamilton of Bardstown and Marcella (Doug) Ray of Lebanon; five brothers, William Ernest Brady, Tommy (Wanda) Brady, Joe Paul (Vickie) Brady and Eugene (Rhonda) Brady, all of Lebanon, and Richard (Arlene) Brady of Elizabethtown; four grandchildren, Corlynn Brady, Anna Maria Brady, Autumn Smith and Joe Joe Smith; and several nieces and nephews.

The Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 13, 2018, at St. Augustine Catholic Church with the Rev. Mark Hamilton officiating. Burial is in the Holy Name of Mary Church Cemetery. Military Honors will be conducted by the Marion County Veteran’s Honor Guard.

Visitation is 5-8:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, 2018, at the Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon with a 7 p.m. prayer service with Deacon Joseph R. Dant.

The Bosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
