Obituary: Jacob Kenneth Lee ‘Kanoby’ Mattingly, 31, Bardstown

Jacob Kenneth Lee “Kanoby” Mattingly, 31, of Bardstown, died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2018, at his residence. He was born Dec. 31, 1986, in Bardstown to Robin Coulter and Kenneth John Mattingly. He loved his family and his motorcycle, and was a member of Nelson County Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jan Coulter, and Bill and Carol Mattingly.

He is survived by his mother, Robin Lewis of Bardstown; his father, Kenny Mattingly of New Haven; two sisters, Jordan (Robbie) Ralston and Kasey (John) Cox of Bardstown; his maternal grandfather, Ronnie Coulter of Bardstown; a special friend and her daughter, Harmony and Lailee Gilissen, both of Bardstown.

Cremation was chosen by the family. A memorial service is 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24, 2018, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home, 1475 New Shepherdsville Road with Chaplain Eldon Morgan officiating.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24, 2018, at the funeral home.

The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
