DOROTHY MAE GRAVES KEY

Dorothy Mae Graves Key, 80, of Bardstown, formerly of Springfield, died at 2:15 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018, at Landmark of Bardstown Nursing & Rehab Center. She was a native of Washington County. She was born March 7, 1938, to the late Edward Lee and Mary Belle Thompson Graves. She was a member of the Jehovah Witness Congregation in Bardstown and a homemaker.

Preceding her in death was her husband, William Robert Key (Sept. 17, 1976); two sisters, Edna Frances Epps and Fannie B. Mayes; and four brothers, Jack Graves, Edward Graves, Benny Charles Graves and Rudolph Graves; two granddaughters, Chasity Key Mills and Tanesha Denae Keene; and one daughter-in-law, Jackie Phillips Key.

Survivors include four daughters, Pamela Jean Young (Steven) and Wendy Theresa Lister, both of Bardstown, Penny Carol Dickens of Springfield and Kimberly Marie Key (Jeffrey Gartin) of Radcliff; four sons, William Robert Key, Jr. (Barbara) of Lexington, and Danny Joseph Key of Louisville, Steven Martin Key (Valerie) and Thomas Anthony Key (Shelley), both of Springfield; 19 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

The funeral is 11 a.m Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2018, at the Carey & Son Funeral Home in Springfield with Rick Hardin officiating. Burial will be on Cemetery Hill.

Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2018, at the funeral home.

Honorary pallbearers are Michael Key, Eric Key, LaBradford Key, Regginal Key, Tyler Lister and Tyson Allen. Casket bearers will be William Robert Key Jr., Steven Martin key, Danny Joseph Key, Thomas Anthony Key, Thomas Nicky Graves and John Edward Graves.

Carey & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
