Thursday, Oct. 18, 2018 — The 2018 Bardstown Craft Beer Festival is set to kick off Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018 at the Farmer’s Market pavilion in historic downtown Bardstown. The event begins at 6 p.m. and will feature more than 100 different craft & specialty beers from Kentucky and beyond.

“This is such a great event for Bardstown, and we are thrilled to be involved with the Craft Beer Festival this year,” Billy Bass, the marketing director for the Stephen Foster Drama Association. “This is a great opportunity for folks from near and far to sample some new & different craft beers while enjoying a wonderful fall evening in our most beautiful downtown.”

The Craft Beer Fest first took place in 2013 and has continued to grow every year.

In addition to the craft beer selections, the event will feature food trucks, locale cuisine from Café Primo and Bullit’s BBQ, and entertainment from the popular Hogslop String Band out of Nashville. Proceeds from this year’s event will benefit the Stephen Foster Drama Association.

“After 5 Years of bringing the community together with great food, music and craft beer, we are excited to pass the torch to our friends at The Stephen Foster Story,” Becca Christensen of the Next Generation Nelson County group.

“It was important to us to keep this wonderful tradition alive, while keeping the event a fundraiser for our community. We’re confident that everyone will once again enjoy the festivities while raising money for The Stephen Foster Story.”

Tickets for the 6th annual Bardstown Craft Beer Fest are $35 (plus tax) in advance or $42 at the door and can be purchased online at bardstowncraftbeerfest.com.
