Thursday, Oct. 25, 2018 — The Nelson County Board of Adjustments public hearing regarding the proposed drug rehab clinic for the old Cox’s Creek school that was rescheduled for Nov. 8th has been postponed again.

Dr. Muhammad Wasim Sajid answers questions about the proposed drug rehab at a community meeting in July.

According to Janet Johnston-Crowe, the next date for the public hearing will not be rescheduled until the applicant indicates he is prepared to move forward on the application before the Nelson County Board of Adjustments.

The hearing, original scheduled for September, was delayed at the request of the attorney representing the applicant.

Residents in the area around the old Cox’s Creek school building have had two public meetings to discuss their concerns about the plans for the proposed rehab.
