Extension Homemakers to offer classes on coasters and making hats

Monday, Oct. 29, 2018 — The Homemakers will have a class from 10 a.m. to noon on Nov. 2, 2018, in the Nelson County Extension Office on how to make coasters using tiles. Jackie Sanneman will be teaching how to make the coasters; participants are asked to bring their own photos to put on the tile. The cost is $5, anyone can come and have fun learning something new. MAKING HATS. On Nov. 9, 2018, from 10 a.m. to noon, Jackie Sanneman will also present a class on making hats using looms. Bring your loom and yarn. There is no charge. Sign up by Nov. 6, 2018 by calling (502) 348-9204.
