Obituary: Matthew Shayne Cothern, 27, Lebanon Junction

Matthew Shayne Cothern, 27, of Lebanon Junction, died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2018, in Corydon, Ind. He was a plate master for B&B Metals and a Baptist by faith.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Willow Hatfield; and his grandparents, Virgil and Viola Cothern, and Gene and Luella Bryan.

Survivors include his parents, Mark and Carol Bryan Cothern; two brothers, Jeremy Cothern (Dianna) and Issac Cothern; one niece, Brianna Cothern; two nephews, Taylor Cothern and Wyatt Cothern; and his dog, Buster.

The funeral is 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, 2018, at the Kappel Funeral Home in Boston with Chaplain Terry Troutman officiating. Burial is in the Little Brick Cemetery.

Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, 2018, at the funeral home in Boston.

The Kappel Funeral Home in Boston is in charge of the arrangements.
