Friday, Nov. 9, 2018 — The Bardstown Huddle House restaurant will show its support for active, retired and veteran military members with a “sweet” freebie — a free order of Huddle House Sweet Cakes.

The free Sweet Cakes will be served beginning Friday through Monday, Nov. 12, 2018.

Sweet Cakes are Huddle House’s pancakes available with a variety of special toppings, including Butter Pecan Praline, Oreo Cookie Crunch, Wild Blueberry and Strawberries & Cream — and more.

According to a Huddle House press release, the move is designed to “show respect and express our thanks for our nation’s active duty, retired and veteran military members, many of whom have put their lives on the line to protect our country.”

Active duty, retired and veterans must show a current military ID when ordering.

The Bardstown Huddle House is located at 1478 East John Rowan Blvd.
