Friday, Nov. 30, 2018 — Lincoln National Bank and Hardin Memorial Hospital Health were recognized Friday afternoon to celebrate their decision to become Distinguished Investors in the Bardstown Nelson County Chamber of Commerce.

Samantha Brady welcomes chamber members to the reception to honor the chamber’s newest distinguished investors, HMH Health and Lincoln National Bank.

According to Chamber Director Samantha Brady, the distinguished investors program allow local businesses to voluntarily step up and contribute to the chamber at a level that will help it continue to meet the needs of the growing business community.

The distinguished investors help underwrite chamber activities, and their assistance helps keep chamber membership affordable for small businesses, Brady explained.

The chamber has seen exponential growth in the last several years, partly due to the distinguished investor program that gives participating businesses a way to receive a high level of visibility through Chamber benefits and an opportunity for them to give back to the community.

Brady said the chamber’s goal is not only to grow, but to lead the community and make sure they support our small business needs and to also deliver large business expectations and requirements.

The chamber has seen record numbers of new businesses join the chamber, she said. The chamber’s list of distinguished investors helped make that growth possible.

The chamber’s focus for 2019 will continue to work to meet member needs by continuing to offer services and classes aimed to benefit local businesses.
