Obituary: Karen Sue Dennis, 71, Bardstown

Karen Sue Dennis, 71, of Bardstown, died Monday, Dec. 3, 2018, at Signature Colonial Nursing and Rehabilitation in Bardstown.

She was preceded in death by one son, David Dennis; her mother, Mary Lena Hall Williams; her stepfather, Ray Williams; three brothers, Jerry Perkins, Ronnie Perkins and Joe Perkins; and one great-grandson, Tyreese Bethea.

Survivors include two daughters, Alice Hill (Bob) and Bonnie Dennis; one sister, Janie Perkins; one stepbrother, Ray Williams, Jr.; one stepsister, Pat Schaum; one sister-in-law, Linda Perkins; four grandchildren, J.D. Coomes, Emilee Coomes, Ruth Hill and Bobbie Bethea; and one great-grandchild, Maya Bethea.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018, at the Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction with the Rev. Gerry Perkins officiating. Burial is in the Lebanon Junction City Cemetery.

Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2018, and after 9 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018, at the funeral home.

The Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction is in charge of the arrangements.
