Salvation Army Kettle Campaign seeking local volunteer bell-ringers

Friday, Dec. 14, 2018 — The Salvation Army Kettle Campaign is looking for volunteer bell-ringers at their kettle locations around Bardstown and Nelson County.

Bell-ringers are sought to help from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday at the kettles at Walmart, Kroger, Save-A-Lot and Walgreens, as well as in other special locations between now and Dec. 24, 2018, Christmas Eve.

Volunteer bell-ringersĀ are encouraged to bring family, music or entertainment to help make the experience memorable.Time slots can be as short as an hour, or 2 to 3 hours for families or groups. Groups can challenge one another and the campaign can calculate donations to see which group wins the challenge.
