Obituary: Leslie ‘Boofy’ Brennan, 52, New Haven

Leslie “Boofy” Brennan, 52, of New Haven, died Friday, Dec. 14, 2018, at his residence. He was born Jan. 15, 1966, in New Haven to the late Francis and Frances Sewell Brennan. He had just celebrated 20 years at General Electric as a paint controlman and loved the outdoors.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Kathy Brennan-Booth and Dixie Green; and one stepson, Deven Weber.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Yates Brennan; two daughters, Mary Beth (Andrew) Brennan and Andrea Brennan, both of New Haven; two sons, Christopher Smith and Darren (Trista) Brennan, both of New Haven; and one grandson, Andrew Jacob Bailey.

The family followed his wishes of cremation. A memorial service is 11:45 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, 2018, at the Rolling Fork Baptist Church with Bro. Bruce Nichols officiating.

Visitation is 11-11:45 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, 2018, will Saturday at the church.

The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
