Nelson Circuit Court Indictments — Jan. 9, 2019

indictmentThursday, Jan. 10, 2019 — The following people were indicted by a Nelson County grand jury on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2019. They are scheduled to be arraigned Thursday, Jan. 24, 2019, in Nelson Circuit Court.

19-CR-004. MICHAEL RAMSEY, 36, Bardstown, complicity to possession of controlled substance, first-degree (methamphetamine); complicity to possession of drug paraphernalia; no operators license; no insurance; improper display of registration plates;

According to the indictment, on Nov. 26, 2018, Ramsey — acting alone or in concert with Daniel Greenwell, allegedly possessed methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia while not in possession of a drivers license, a valid insurance card, vehicle registration, or proper display of a license plate. Bail was set at $9,500 cash only, plus conditions.

19-CR-005. LEDRICK SHONTAY EDWARDS, 39, Bardstown, robbery, second-degree; persistent felony offender, first-degree.

According to the indictment, on Dec. 7, 2018, Edward allegedly threatened to use physical force when he committed second-degree robbery at the WesBanco Bank branch at 315 North Third St. in Bardstown. The indictment cites Edward’s prior felony convictions as the basis for the persistent felony offender charge. Bail was set at $100,000 cash only, plus conditions.

19-CR-006. DANIEL GREENWELL, 29, Bardstown, complicity to possession of controlled substances, first-degree (methamphetamine); complicity to possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to the indictment, on Nov. 26, 2018, Greenwell — acting alone or in concert with Michael Ramsey — was allegedly found in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $9,500 cash only, plus conditions.

19-CR-007. TYLER GENE MILES, 26, Bloomfield, receiving stolen property; tampering with physical evidence.

According to the indictment, on Nov. 12, 2018, Miles allegedly received retained or disposed of a trailer that was stolen from Spencer County having a value of more than $10,000. When Miles believed an official proceeding was pending,, he allegedly cut up the trailer with the intent to impair its availability. Bail was set at $9,500 cash only, plus conditions.

19-CR-008. VICTOR SLINKER, 33, Louisville, possession of controlled substance, first-degree (heroin); possession of controlled substance, first-degree (methamphetamine); possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of marijuana.

According to the indictment, on Nov. 12, 2018, Slinker was allegedly found in possession of heroin, methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $9,500 cash only, plus conditions.

19-CR-009. VINCENT DAKOTA NETHERY, 25, Bardstown, assault, third-degree (2 counts); disorderly conduct, first-degree; terroristic threatening, third-degree; persistent felony offender, second-degree.

According to the indictment, on Nov. 17, 2018, Nethery allegedly became irate and caused a disturbance, and threatened serious injury and assaulted two police officers. The indictment cites Nethery’s prior felony conviction as basis for the persistent felony offender charge. Bail was set at $20,000 cash only, plus conditions.

19-CR-010. KEVIN MAHANA, 50, Bardstown, robbery, second-degree.

According to the indictment, on Nov. 16, 2018, Mahana allegedly threatened to use physical force against a bank employee when he robbed the WesBanco Bank branch at 315 North Third St. in Bardstown. Bail was set at $9,500 cash only, plus conditions.

19-CR-011. MYKEL C. CLOUD, 24, Bardstown, possession of controlled substances, first-degree (heroin); possession of controlled substances, first-degree (methamphetamine).

According to the indictment, on Dec. 2, 2018, Cloud was allegedly found in possession of heroin and methamphetamine. Bail was set at $9,500 cash only, plus conditions.

19-CR-012. SIDNEY DONAHUE, 21, Loretto, possession of controlled substances, first-degree (cocaine).

According to the indictment, on Nov. 21, 2018, Donahue was allegedly found in possession of cocaine. Bail was set at $5,000 cash only, plus conditions.
