MILLARD MCCELLAND JOHNSON

Millard McCelland Johnson, 83, of Bardstown, died Friday, Jan. 11, 2019, in Bardstown from a pedestrian accident. He was born on August 6, 1935, in Louisville to the late Frank and Ola Shropshire Johnson. He was a former employee of Louisville Cooperage and Bardstown Kroger.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Kathlyn Grace “Kay” Johnson; one sister, Hazel Johnson; and one brother, Porter Johnson.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Faye Blair Johnson; one daughter, Cindy Lynn Hooper of Springfield; one stepdaughter, Lisa Taylor of Bardstown; one stepson, Mark (Alta) Kurtz of Elizabethtown; three sisters, Janetta Brading of Campbellsburg, Dorothy Drivers of Louisville, and Elizabeth Ballard of Shepherdsville; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.

The family has followed his wishes for cremation without services or visitation.

The Houghlin Greenwell Funeral Home, 1475 New Shepherdsville Road, was in charge of arrangements.
