Obituary: Clifford L. Shelton, 76, Bardstown
Clifford L. Shelton, 76, of Bardstown, died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2019. He was born Dec. 9, 1942, in Shepherdsville to the late John and Gladys (Eddington) Shelton. He was a transmission mechanic and Baptist by faith. He was a mason with McNeil Lodge #586 F&AM in Lebanon Junction.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Clifford Ross Shelton; and siblings, Junior, Leona, Dale and Kenny.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 56 years, Joan (Huffman) Shelton; one daughter, Kim Jubinville (Paul); one son, Mark Shelton (Michelle); five grandchildren, Brandi Conlin-Odom (Eric), Kristin Aubrey (Cole), Justin Shelton, Sarah Conlin and Kelsey Jubinville; eight great-grandchildren, Easton, Joseph, Wyatt, Elaina, Kendall, Elijah, Morgan and Holden;
one sister, Jean Pearl (Jay); one brother, Billy Shelton; and a host of family and friends.
The funeral is noon Monday, Feb. 11, 2019, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with burial in Highland Memory Gardens.
Visitation is 1-8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, 2019, ant 10 a.m. to noon Monday, Feb. 11, 2019, at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to Kosair Children’s Hospital.
The Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
