Obituary: Chester Ray Weakley, 73, Rineyville

Chester Ray Weakley, 73, of Rineyville, died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2019, at his home in Rineyville. He was born in Mooresville to Cecil and Zelma (Harlow) Weakley. He was a diesel mechanic.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Marvin Weakley.

He is survived by his loving wife, Soundra Weakley of Rineyville; two sons: Daniel (Marda) Weakley of Boston and Willie (Beth Ellen) Weakley of Willisburg; three stepdaughters: Tabatha (Bob) Ricketts of Radcliff, Marla (Philip) Hensley of Rineyville, and Sabrina (Leslie) Pickerell of Buffalo; one stepson, Dion (Rhonda) Engle of Radcliff; four sisters, Helen Holderman of Springfield, Alice Cornish of Oberlin, Ohio, Wanda Jones of Springfield, and Emma Sue Bouquet of Waxahachie, Texas; two brothers, Clifton Weakley of Mount Washington and Donald Weakley of Springfield; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren whom he loved very much.

The funeral is 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2019, Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with the Rev. Michael Willingham officiating with burial in the Rineyville Cemetery.

Visitation is 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18, 2019, and 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2019, at the funeral home.

The Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown is in charge of arrangements.
