Obituary: John Patrick ‘Fiddy’ Magee, 42, Bardstown

John Patrick “Fiddy” Magee, 42, of Bardstown, died Tuesday, March 19, 2019, at his residence with his family by his side. He was born Oct. 23, 1976, in Louisville to Nancy Magee Morrell. He was a self-employed mechanic, loved spending time outdoors, racing cars, Razor ATVs, being with friends and family, and was a member of the Catholic faith.

He is survived by two daughters, Hannah Nicole Magee of Bardstown and Kerigan Magee of Chaplin; one son, Cameron Hester of Cox’s Creek; his mother, Nancy Magee Morrell of Bardstown; one sister, Julie (Ancil) Watson of Bardstown; one grandchild, Jaxston Hester of Cox’s Creek; two nieces, Adrian Watson and Harley Watson; one nephew, Noah Magee; one great-niece, Oakleigh Chowning of Bardstown; and one special uncle, Butch Magee.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Friday, March 22, 2019, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home with Chaplain Jose Albovias Jr. officiating. Burial is in the Bardstown Cemetery.

Visitation is 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2019, at the funeral home.

The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
