National active, retired federal employees group to meet Monday, Aug. 5th

Tuesday, July 16, 2019 — The next meeting of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees (NARFE) is set for 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 5, 2019, in the community room of Nolin Rural Electric Co-op, 411 Ring Road in Elizabethtown. This meeting is open to all active and retired federal employees. A meal will be served. Please RSVP via email to kygbfan@comcast.net, or call (270) 832-8857.

Dr. Bisona Bennett, owner and group fitness instructor with Miss Healthy Fitness for Women, spoke at the July 1, 2019 NARFE meeting. Dr. Bennett offers an exercise program for active seniors called Silver Sneakers at the Town Mall in Elizabethtown. Silver Sneakers schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
