Obituary: James ‘Jim Paul’ Newton, 52, Bardstown

James “Jim Paul” Newton, 52, of Bardstown, died Thursday, Aug. 15, 2019, at his residence. He was born July 22, 1967, in Bardstown to the late William Joseph and Mary Lilly Hagan Newton. He was a member of the Catholic faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, John Newton.

Survivors include one sister, Karen (Pat) Ballard of Bardstown; two brothers, Neal (Malinda) Newton of Bardstown and Reggie (Lisa Harris) Newton of New Haven; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation is 2-6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 18, 2109, at the Houghlin Greenwell Funeral Home in Bardstown with cremation to follow.

The Houghlin Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
