Obituary: Terry Cook, 60, Cox’s Creek

Terry Cook, 60, of Cox’s Creek, died Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2019, at Flaget Memorial Hospital. He was born Feb. 9, 1959, in Bardstown. He loved the Lord, nature and helping others out. Most of all his children and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Grover Cook; his paternal grandparents, Hughsie and Ellen S. Cook; and maternal grandparents, Leo and Helen Wathen.

He is survived by one daughter, Tracy (Frankie) Campbell of Cox’s Creek; one son, Troy (Brittany) Cook of Bardstown; his mother, Carolyn Ballard; four sisters, Donna Bowman, Rose Spalding, Mona Carey, and Annette Curtsinger; and three brothers, David Cook, John Cook, and Chris Cook; eight grandchildren, Mackenzie Cook, Tristun Cook, Scottie Cook, Kaydence Hatfield, Brisun Cook, Lola Campbell, Stella Campbell, Ava Campbell; Ex-Wife, Lois Hall Cook; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The funeral is noon Saturday, Sept. 14, 2019, at Barlow Funeral Home.

Visitation is 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 14, 2019, at the funeral home.

His wishes are to be cremated after his services.

Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
