Obituary: Richard Henry ‘Rick’ Taylor, 59, Bardstown

Richard Henry “Rick” Taylor, 59, of Bardstown, died Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2019, at his residence. He was born on Aug. 14, 1960, at Fort Knox to the late Roscoe Henry and Josephine Boss Taylor. He was a truck driver who loved fishing, oldies music and attended New Beginning Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Robert “Bobby” Taylor.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Durbin Taylor; and two brothers, Ron (Linda) Taylor, and Dewey Taylor both of Louisville; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral is 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11, 2019, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home with Bro. Barry McGuffin officiating with cremation to follow.

Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11, 2019, at the funeral home.

The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home was is in charge of arrangements.
