Obituary: Peggy Arlene Brown, 65, Hodgenville

PEGGY ARLENE BROWN

Peggy Arlene Brown, 65, of Hodgenville, died Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. She was a seamstress and a former employee of E-town Laundry.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Ray Brown and Thelma Dean DeSpain Brown Owens; two sisters, Joyce French and Suzanne Stillwell; and two brothers, Dennis Ray Brown and Mark Anthony Brown.

She is survived by her husband, of 43 years, Terry Brown; two daughters, Kelly (Sean) Johnson of Elizabethtown and Shannon Brown Smallwood of Washington; four sisters, Janey Ames of Tennessee, Linda Corbett and Lesa Hodge, both of Vine Grove, and Lesley Curry of Elizabethtown; one brother, Paul Brown of New Haven; and three grandchildren, Allison O’Brien, Nicholas O’Brien and Eliot Brown.

Graveside services were Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2019, at Barren Run Baptist Church Cemetery in Sonora with Bro. Ron Tongate officiating.

The Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville is in charge of arrangements.
