Video: Fiscal Court, county clerk discuss purchase of new voting machines

Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2023 — Nelson Fiscal Court discussed the purchase of new voting machines at their meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2023. Nelson County Clerk Jeanette Hall Sidebottom and a representative from HARP Enterprises answered questions about the new machines. A local resident asked if the court could delay the purchase and go to hand-counted paper ballots. The magistrates voted unanimously to approve the purchase.
