Obituary: Marcia Rodman Taylor, 92
Marcia Rodman Taylor, 92, died Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Flaget Memorial Hospital. She was born June 8, 1931, in Fairfield to the late Rodman and Vina Downs Sales. She was a homemaker and worked on the family farm. She was a member of the Bloomfield Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, William E. “Bill” Taylor; and two grandchildren, Jaclyn Brooke Taylor and Austin Collier Taylor.
She is survived by three sons, Terry Taylor of Cocoa Beach, Fla., Scott (Patricia) Taylor of Kalaheo, Hawaii and Todd Taylor of Palm Springs, Calif.; one brother, Donald (Maxine) Sales of Salem, Ind.; one granddaughter, Mallory Taylor of Tampa, Fla.; and four special friends, Sandy Coulter, Mary Lou Muir Crume, Helen Stephens and Dottie McGee.
The funeral is 2 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 2024, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Bro. Richard Carwile officiating. Burial is in Maple Grove Cemetery.
Visitation is 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 2024, at the funeral home.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions go to the Nelson County Humane Society.
The Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
