Obituary: James ‘Jimmy’ David Hahn, 86, Bloomfield

James “Jimmy” David Hahn, 86, of Bloomfield,, died Thursday, Dec. 11, 2025, at his home. He was born Nov. 27, 1939, in Bloomfield to the late Chester and Dorothy Conder Hahn.

He was a farmer and a retired employee of General Electric. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was a member of Bloomfield Baptist Church. He enjoyed anything on the farm, racing go carts and pulling tractors.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Hood Hahn; one daughter, Karen (Bryan “Boo”) Trent; one son, Greg (Cynthia) Hahn; two brothers, Jerry Hahn and Ricky (Carrie) Hahn, both of Bloomfield; three grandchildren, Nick (Chloe) Hahn, Ryan (Courtney) Trent, Daniel Trent; and three great-grandchildren, Kynlee Trent, Waylen Trent and Greta June Hahn.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 15, 2025, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Pastor Richard Carwile and Bill Judd officiating with burial in the Maple Grove Cemetery.

Visitation is noon to 5 po.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, 2025, and 9-11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 15, 2025, at the funeral home.

The Houghlin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
