Obituary: Robert ‘Bobby’ Keith Riley, 79, formerly of Bardstown

Robert “Bobby” Keith Riley, 79, of Oklahoma City, Okla, formerly of Bardstown, died Monday, Dec. 1, 2025. He was born in Bardstown and graduated in the Bardstown High School Class of 1965. He was the son of Kenneth and Mattie Riley.

He was a kind, generous soul to his sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, neighbors and Union brothers & sisters (UAW 1999) Oklahoma City retiree chapter where he was vice-chairman for many years.

Anyone that knew him would say that he was a charismatic conversationalist, a traveler and adventurer, an avid boater and angler and a snow and water skier. Their homes’ landscaping was a testament to how he loved trees. He planted many tree saplings gathered from their many travels around the country with his wife.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Jo Anne Jean Riley; and two sisters, Claire (Lee) Miller and Martha Estelle (Ray) Workman.

The graveside service is noon Monday, Dec. 15, 2025, in the Bardstown Cemetery.
