Thursday, May 15, 2025 — Jordan Adamson, 32, of Fairdale, was convicted and sentenced to six years in prison on charges of theft by unlawful taking, third-degree burglary, first-degree criminal mischief and other charges by Judge Joe G. Ballard in the Nelson Circuit Court Wednesday, March 14, 2025.

Adamson was indicted by a Nelson County grand jury Dec. 4, 2024, crimes committed in Nelson Count Nov. 10, 2024.
According to the indictment, Adamson appears to have gone on a crime spree wherein she burglarized the Creek Mart in Bloomfield and stole lottery tickets and other items, then later in the day fraudulently utilized a credit card at Rooster Run that belonged to a local citizen and had been stolen from the citizen the previous night.
According to court filings, Detective Brandon Teater of the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office reviewed security video, FLOCK camera footage, and location tracking on a pair of stolen AirPods in his investigation.
Adamson was sentenced to six years for theft and unlawful access to a computer, a Class C felony with a maximum penalty of five years on each of tthe charges — burglary 3rd degree, first-degree criminal mischief, and tampering with physical evidence charges, with the time to run concurrently for a total of six years.
