Michael L. Forbes, 53, of Lebanon Junction, died Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at his home. He was born Aug. 13, 1971, in Dearborn, Mich. He was a Master Mason and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was the middle child of the late George Forbes Sr, and the late Victoria Spence. He married the love of his life, Katherine Forbes on July 4, 2017. With this union, they created a beautiful life in Lebanon Junction and have had a long life of love.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Austin Forbes; and one nephew, Avery (his wingman).
He is survived by his wife, Katherine Forbes; two daughters, Leasha Johnson and Andrea Barzee; one son, Caleb Forbes; his three bonus children, Tiffany Stebbins (Branden Stebbins), Ashley O’Bryan and Kortney Hanning; one sister, Taryn Forbes (Todd); one brother, George Forbes Jr. (Kimberly Forbes); five grandchildren, Miles Davis, John Wininger, Michael Hanning, Valerie Hanning, Maddie Vincent, and many more; three nieces and nephews, Victoria Priddy (Joshua Priddy), Brianna Ash, Hunter Forbes; and many close friends.
The memorial service is 1 p.m. Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Barlow Funeral Home with Bro. Ray Johnson officiating.
Visitation is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 24, 2025, at the funeral home.
Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
